Like a Second Home

"School is just like home."  KA understands parents give their trusts of putting their child in our care.  KA is committed to select only the best for our students.  This reflects in our highly educated and experience teachers and staff (both Thai, foreign, and Native English Speaker).  Also, books, teaching materials, educational equipments and tools, classrooms, labs, and facilities are state-of-the-art.
Our facilities are catered to students of different ages and sizes.  The computer lab for kindergarten and lower primary, for example, is equipped with small chairs and tables that are ergonomical to our students.  This is also true to a small, shallow swiming area for kindergarten students.  Our science labs caters to the needs of different educational levels.  For example, primary science lab is equipped with science equipment appropriate for primary scicence experiments.  The secondar science lab is equipped with a more sophitcated type of equipments.  Resource centers and library, which are attractively decorated, are filled with books and various educational resources (i.e., CDs, DVDs, Computer with Internet).  Our specially built theater allows students to learn visually through multimedia resources provided with textbooks or supplementary materials.  Classroom is large and well-lit.  Playhouse, which is designed to promote imagination, houses sliders, tunnels, ball pit, and padded floor, promotes physical and play development.  All buildings are designed with safety in mind.  School hires 24 hour security guards.

In addition to attending to students' needs, KA also attempts to meet the need of parents.  KA has established a website (www.kasintorn.com) for parents to receive information.  Parents will find information ranging from news, calendar, pictures, lunch menu, and vote, contact details.  Some information can be viewed for the current month or later.

All of these conincide with our philosophy of learning society of the future through participation from parents.  KA invites parents to become part of our learning community.

Activity Overview

Educational activities serve as character building experience.  Students develop better physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially through activities.  Students are made to relize that they need to make a name of themselves and their family.  KA therefore creates various activities for students.

For example, while offering a bilingual education through foreign/native English speaking teachers, KA does not promote western cultures over Thai's.  KA promote various Thai cultural days (such as Songkran, Buddhist Lent, Mother Day, Father Day, and Teacher Day), and Thai manners such as saying "Sawasdee", paying respect to elders, friends help friends, and Economic Sufficiency.  These activities develop students academically and  physically. All activities are supervised by both Thai and foreign/native English speaking teachers

In addition to activities organized by KA, there are other activities where KA students attend such as Bent & Boat Tour, Performance for H.M. Queen Sirikit Birthday (Mother Day) on Channel 5, 7, and 11, Ovaltine Tour, Mister Donut Tour, Hi-Q "Brain-Based Learning," Thai Music Performance at National Theater, Thailand Cultural Center, to name a few.

These activities aims to offer learning opportunities and develop potentials to promote student holistically. KA expects our students to become high quaity adults, who are happy and a productive member of the community.
